Terms & Conditions
These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the REPS UAE website and registration system. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. About REPS UAE
REPS UAE operates the Register of Exercise Professionals UAE, a voluntary register designed to protect the public and promote standards within the fitness industry in the United Arab Emirates.
2. Eligibility
Registration is open to exercise professionals operating in the UAE who hold an accredited qualification in one or more REPs UAE categories of registration. By applying, you confirm that:
- All information and documents you provide are genuine, accurate and complete;
- You hold the qualifications and certifications you declare;
- You are legally entitled to work in the UAE;
- You are at least 18 years of age.
3. Registration Process
Submission of an application does not guarantee registration. REPS UAE reviews all submitted documentation and reserves the right to request additional evidence or to reject an application that does not meet the required standards.
Registration fees are non-refundable once a registration decision has been issued, except where REPS UAE has made an administrative error. Where an application is rejected before a decision, a partial refund may be issued at REPS UAE's discretion.
4. Registrant Obligations
As a registered professional, you agree to:
- Abide by the REPS UAE Code of Ethics at all times;
- Keep your personal details, qualifications, and insurance up to date;
- Complete the required Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours each registration year;
- Notify REPS UAE immediately of any disciplinary proceedings, criminal convictions, or other matters that may affect your fitness to practise;
- Not misrepresent your REPS UAE registration status;
- Not use your REPS number after it has expired or been suspended.
5. Annual Renewal
Registration is valid for one year from the date of approval. Renewal is the sole responsibility of the registrant. REPS UAE will send courtesy reminders but acceptance of the reminder does not constitute renewal. Expired registrations are removed from the public register.
6. Suspension and Removal
REPS UAE may suspend or remove a registration at any time if:
- A submitted document is found to be fraudulent or inaccurate;
- The registrant breaches the Code of Ethics;
- A serious complaint is upheld;
- The registrant is convicted of a criminal offence relevant to their fitness to practise;
- The annual fee is not paid.
Registrants subject to suspension or removal proceedings have the right to submit a written response before a final decision is made, except where an immediate suspension is necessary to protect the public.
7. Public Register
The public register displays REPS number, registration status, expiry date, emirate, and registered categories. This information is provided for verification purposes only. Employers must not make employment decisions based solely on register status.
8. Acceptable Use
You must not:
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems;
- Use automated scraping, bots, or crawlers without prior written permission;
- Submit false or misleading information;
- Attempt to impersonate another registrant or staff member;
- Use our services to facilitate any activity that violates UAE law.
Violations may result in immediate suspension, referral to UAE Cybercrime authorities under Federal Law No. 34/2021, or other legal action.

10. Limitation of Liability
REPS UAE provides register information on an "as-is" basis. We do not guarantee the accuracy of information submitted by registrants and accept no liability for employment decisions made on the basis of register data.
To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, REPS UAE's total liability for any claim arising from use of our services shall not exceed the registration fee paid in the relevant registration year.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Emirate of Dubai.
